Woody’s Workshop

Building and designing our very own workshop has been, as you could probably guess, a dream of mine for some time. I now finally know the excitement our customers must feel when we are designing their treehouses and cabins with them. Everything from picking materials, working out interior floorplans, to roof angles. Well needless to say this one had me on 24/7 endless possibilities mode once again.

Given this is at our family home I wanted to design this as not only a space I use, but also one that the rest of the family can enjoy, both inside and out. So an important element in all of this was making sure it fit in with the garden, and if heaven forbid we came to selling the house one day, and the new owners didn’t need a large workshop in their garden. It has all been carefully designed so that the space is a blank slate to whomever is in there. With underfloor heating, full insulation and more windows than Ally Pally there’s a multitude of different uses it can be put to.
