A bit about us
Who is Nest?
Welcome to Nest Treehouses, my name’s Tristan and I created this business to turn my passion into my work. My intention with Nest is to create the most beautiful and creative treehouses the world has seen, with consideration for our planet and its wildlife at the forefront of each design. After years of experience with some of the world’s leading treehouse builders, Nest Treehouses is ready to blaze a trail for a new era of treehouse.
A history of design
My whole life I’ve been fascinated with tools and materials. At school and university you could always find me in the workshop. Upon graduation, I begun looking for something to design and build that I could make my life’s work, but had no idea what that was. An obsession with boat-building here and months of madness renovating a gypsy wagon there, I was happily flitting about from one job to another.
Why Treehouses?
The epiphany came one day when a friend told me about a job they had just seen posted in Bristol. “A Treehouse Builder? Too good to be true!” I thought.
I responded to the ad straight away:“Man with tools seeks work in trees!” They wrote back the very next day. The rest, as they say, is history. What followed was many passion filled years with many beautiful treehouses and many, many happy customers. The next step in my journey was obvious, with years in design and these specialist skills, it was high time to forge my own business....
Nest Treehouses was born.
