Planning your own build can be daunting, there are so many things to consider. Is the tree safe to build in? Do I need planning permission for something this small? Am I going to have to spend £100’s on tools I might only use once?
We’re here to help.
We offer a full treehouse consultation and set up kit custom designed for you to build exactly what you want and in your own time. Most importantly we can assist to ensure it’s a safe and secure space that you and the whole family can be proud of.
Build It Yourself Steps
Depending on what level of assistance you’re after we’ve got you covered. Below are some of the services we can offer for you, we can tailor any to suit your needs and abilities.
Site Check
Assessing the tree, ground and underground for potential hazards. Here we discuss and choose the best site for your build and take measurements we can design to if needed. Here we can discuss any permissions that may need looking into also.
Designing Safely
The structure itself is yours to create how you want. However the sub-frame is critical for a safe construction, here we can work together to design you a safe space to work on.
Building a Base
We’ll work together to construct a simple platform using expert techniques and specialist carpentry methods. A range of tools are required here that we provide for this experience.
Safety Checks
During the process we can arrange to visit the site as often or infrequently as you’d like. We recommend a final visit after the bulk of the work has been carried out. We will leave the finishing details to you if you want it that way. It’s up to you.
